Missouri’s businesses and individuals have access to 10 major interstates and country’s sixth largest highway system.  The Mississippi River flows along the State’s entire Eastern border and it provides efficient in-country and internationally bound barge shipping of grains, oilseeds, ores and many other products.  Two of the largest rail terminals are located in Missouri.  Four class-one railroads deliver efficient and inexpensive shipping to most U.S. cities.  Container loading facilities located in St. Louis and Kansas City provide the means to effectively export and import products.   Missouri’s two largest airports are located in St. Louis and Kansas City for passengers and cargo shipments.
